Description
Pithori Amavasya 2023 at our doors right now. This festival special for ladies ,it is observed on Bhadrapad mass in August and september according to the Hindu calender. On this day devotee worship goddess Durga on this day . Ladies do fast for their children ,prosperity and healthy life . 64 goddess worsiped on this day for their children life .64 goddess made from "pith" and offered them some special recipes. there "pith "means flour(atta).
This time it is observed on 14 September 2023 on Bhadrapad month.
In south people worship goddess Palleramma also from of goddess Durga.
Saptamatrukas and Astmatrukas also worshiped on Pithori Amavasya.
