According to Hindu mythology, Sudama was a close friend of Lord Krishna from childhood. He came from a poor Brahmin family; on the other hand, Lord Krishna belonged to a rich family. They grew up together, where Sudama faced many difficulties due to poverty. Lord Krishna became the king of Dwarka.
One day, Sudama's wife told him about his friend Krishna and suggested that he visit him and ask him for help. Krishna was known for his humbleness. But Sudama wants his friends help. After some effort, Sudama agrees to meet him.
Reaching Dwarka Sudama hasitat to meet Krishna with an empty hand; after that, he took some rice in his small pocket as a gift to Krishna. Krishna welcomed Sudama with great affection and treated him with respect and love.
Krishna understands the purity of his father's heart. Sudama was happy with his friend's hospitality. Sudama forgot everything and was really happy with enjoying his friend's company. After some time, Sudama asked Krishna for farewell and returned home.
When he reached the home, there was a palace in his small hut. Sudama realized that was the gift from his friend Krishna, his divine grace and blessings.
